What is SFVintageMaps?SFVintageMaps is your go-to guide to vintage shopping in San Francisco. Whether you're a seasoned collector or a curious explorer, our map highlights the best vintage, antique, and thrift stores across the city—organized by neighborhood for easy browsing.

How do I use the map?To use the map, filter by neighborhood and category using the top boxes. You'll see a curated list of vintage shops in that area. Each shop’s location, hours, specialties, and directions are available for easy navigation.

I'm visiting SF, where should l start?You can pick a neighborhood and then go for it! Take the day, enjoy yourself. Introduce yourself to shop workers and store owners. Everyone loves hearing your stories and mention how you saw them on the San Francisco Vintage Map website! Let them know that they are supported by the community and loved by all!

Is the map available in a print version?Not at this time. However, we are planning to distribute flyers in San Francisco visitor centers soon!

Is there an Instagram?Yep! Follow us at @sfvintagemaps for shop spotlights, vintage finds, event updates, and behind-the-scenes San Francisco nostalgia.

How can I support SFVintageMaps?You can support SFVintageMaps by sharing it, using it, tagging us on your vintage finds, and telling your favorite stores about us! We also welcome donations or partnerships to help fund printing and outreach efforts.

What qualifies as “vintage” for inclusion?We generally include stores that focus on pre-2000 goods—clothing, furniture, décor, books, and collectibles. Shops must have a physical location in San Francisco and be open to the public at least occasionally.

How often is the map updated?We update the map regularly to reflect shop closures, relocations, new openings, and changes in hours. If you see outdated info, please let us know—we appreciate your help in keeping the map accurate!

Are you affiliated with the stores listed?Nope! This is an independent project built to support the vintage community. We don’t take affiliate fees or kickbacks from businesses on the map. But if you want to $upport, we would greatly appreciate it!

How can I add my shop to the map?If your shop is based in San Francisco and specializes in vintage, antique, or secondhand goods, you may be eligible. Submit your info through our Contact page, and we'll get back to you within 7 business days. Be sure to include: Store Name, Address, Phone Number, Website, Instagram, and Facebook.

Does my shop qualify?To qualify to be added to the map your shop has to have at least 60% vintage in your store. That includes but not limited to home goods, accessories, clothing, and furnishings.

Can I add my booth to the map?The map is strictly for store fronts only. If you are in a collective, antique mall, etc we will add the main store to the map but not your individual booth. So sorry!

Can you add my popup?Unfortunately not. Temporary popups under 3-6 months can be added to the events calendar. When your shop becomes permanent, more than happy to add it to the permanent map!
